Otherwise happy and healthy baby sick after every feed

My four month old son breast and bottle fed sicks up huge quantities of undigested and partially digested milk whether the feed is breast or bottle. It doesn't seem to bother him and he's gaining wait but I'm worried. Getting through so many bibs and tops each day. MW suggested giving him a hungry baby formula so that he drank less, that didn't help. Also tried switching formulas from aptimil to cow and gate - initial improvement but now back to a river of vomit coming out of his dear little mouth. Anyone got any suggestions??

I bet he's a 'happy chucker' - babies with reflux but no pain, ie acid not a problem.

If you can cope with the laundry, I'd just try burping him really well and keeping him upright for a good 20min after a feed. If not, see a GP and ask about infant Gaviscon - it goes in with the feed and thickens it so it's physically harder to puke it up. Does have side effects though (constipation) so only use it if you have to (we do, and ds is fine, although the poos are pretty solid!)

You can get stay-down formula that is thicker too.

Good luck!
