Lrg size Feeding Bras and a Bad back ... HELP!

Hi,

I have a bad back and the weight of my newly enormousized boobs is a problem... 34J.

Can anyone advise on a good bra... good support, and padded straps if possible, at least wide straps. The normal straps dig in and hurt my shoulder muscles.

ooooo and not underwired please cause that can increase mastitis i think...

and if everything is possible ... a decent shape!...

Thank you for your help

best option for your back would be underwired

Me30 · 06/04/2010 13:49

is that ok when breast feeding?

I'm 34J too, I couldn't find anything halfway decent. I am making do with a Freya dotty one in 36HH, and an Anita underwired one in 36H. Neither of them fit properly. The only ones I could find that go up to 34J are Royce ones, and they are a hideous fit and make my boobs go out to the sides. The best website was bras4mums.

But really, there is a huge gap in the market for larger-sized underwired BF bras. It's the bigger boobs that need the underwiring! Why on earth stop at HH?

Try the royce feeding bras at bravissimo. You can also try them on or have a fitting at any of their shops, well worth a trip out!

Another 34J here! I would pay a seriously large amount of money for an underwired nursing bra at this point, but am making do with non-underwired as I can't find any.

The link fiveisanawfullybignumber put on to Bravissimo also has the Charlotte bra, which goes up to a 34J and I have been wearing for the last month - much nicer than the Royce which I have also tried.

It's not that no-one sells the bigger NBs- the manufacturers don't make them apparently! The Freya Dotty is quite generous in the cups and they've used the same pattern to make Emily which is a coral colour with big cream spots. The biggest NB seems to be the Royce Charlotte that Getthepartystarted mentioned, but it's not quite as nice a shape- the Freya ones almost look like you're wearing wires. If you're around SE London, The Fitting Studio stocks all three.

Royce used to do a nursing bra that went upto an M or n cup a few years ago. Might be worth dropping them an email to see why it's not avail anymore, and whether they have any left in the factory if anyone needs bigger.
