How green is too green (talking baby poo)?!

Those who do not want TMI about poo, look away now -
Have read about green poo on other threads...but wondering if DD has tummy bug?

She is 7 weeks and breastfed. For last couple of days has been doing quite a lot of green poos. Not just the odd spinachy one (which we have had in the past) but something that looks more jelly like. We are still getting the odd yellow one, but am wondering if I need to be concerned.
She is quite windy/colicky too, though lately she seems to be burping up less and squirming around more after feeding...so am wondering if more of the wind is exiting below?

Should i take her to the Dr? She also has a v slight snuffle today, so is she just fighting off a bug? Anyone?

My DS is 2 weeks old and also had some very green (almost bright) poo. When i asked my midwife about this she said that green poo is just a sign of a windy baby and nothing to worry about. However, if it stays green for more than a few days i would probably phone GP or HV.

Hope that helps.

If it's just for a few days then no problem.
DD at 3 weeks old had almost fluorescent green jelly-like, then liquid poo for a week or two, then she had tiny temperature (38 degrees), so the doctor told us to go to A&E and once there her temp has risen, had bloods taken few times and observed for day and a half. They said it was probably a little gastro, but they didn't find anything ( they were worrying about meningitis, because of temp).

So green poo itself- no problem. If it turns into diarrhea that last for a few days, then call a doctor.

DD had all shades of green poos when little and there wasn't any problem after that first time.

Yes it is almost glow in the dark sometimes!

Could be a little bug, but as long as she eats well and has plenty of wet nappies etc that's fine.
You'll see anyway in the next few days, but if no other symptoms, I wouldn't worry.

I did mention green poo to a new HV yesterday and found her unhelpful. She just went on about foremilk and hind milk (I always make sure that DD has a long time on one side before offering the other, so not sure what more I can do on that count, plus plenty of old threads on here seem to suggest that fore/hind milk stuff is nonsense anyway?)...and then she said that feeding for 1 hour on 1 side was too long (?! is it?) and then started going on about getting into a routine (unprompted by me - baby is only 7 weeks FGS! And anyway is settling into her own feeding routine).....

I will keep an eye on it then...I forgot to say that the nappies are also a bit smelly...
