Am i being dim about storing breast milk?

Do i nee to store my milk in breast milk bags or am i ok to buy pots and sterilise them and use them?

I used cream pots that I'd put through the dishwasher. The only downside I could find was that they took up a little more space in the freezer.

Those special milk bags cost a fortune.

Reusable pots are fine. I sterilise mine, though advice is conflicting as to whether you actually need to.

Kathyjelly - i know what you mean about the cost of the bags, they are ridiculously over priced so this way i should save some money.
