Antibiotics = toxic poo in 17 MO?

My 17 MO ds has had an upset tummy since Tuesday. He vomitted only once and had diarrhoea for a couple of days. Since then he's been Ok in himself and back on his food but he's doing really smelly farts and his poo has been loose, yellow and really vile smelling. Like nothing he's ever done before! He's always been a big breastfeeder, and was feeding loads while he was under the weather.

I started a course of antibiotics (amoxicillin) the previous week. Is it possible that this could be what's affecting his tummy?

yes, very likely

it'll sort itself out once the antibs are finished

Thanks Mrs B! I was racking my brains as to why it was carrying on for so long, and suddenly realised that it could have been my ABs.

I finished the course yesterday, so hopefully it'll sort itself out soon.
