I bought the pump off ebay to save money and i've assembled it as best i can with no instructions but i dont seem to be getting good suction on it to even stimulate my let down.

Can anyone help? Please.

NAK. check the valves. there may be a small nick or blemish causing poor suction

I 2nd the valves check. A tiny tear could stop it from working properly. You can get new ones online.

yeah, those little white valves are easily damaged, and make all the difference

I have also heard there were problems with the collection kits a couple of years ago (depends how old your pump is). YOu can get replacements easily enough but I agree the valves are the most likely source of the problem. Ardo Medical sell these pumps and the valves were, last time I checked 65pence each.

Thanks everyone, i'm going to get some more now. The diaphragms seem to move a lot when my boob isnt in the shield but as soon as i put it in they hardly move, is this right?

Does anyone have any instructions for the pump they could e-mail me please to make sure its together correctly and that im doing things right?
