For those of you that were formula feeding when your baby reached one, did you carry on with formula or switch to cows milk?
Thanks.

no, cows milk.

I used follow on milk from 9-12 months and then switched to full fat cows milk. No need for formula after the age of 1.

cow's milk

cows - provided they're getting a reasonable diet no need for formula!

I used first stage formula till a year old then switched to cows milk, follow on milks are completely unecessary!

Thanks all - i thought that I could just switch. DD eats really well so I'm not worried about her getting vitamins. Just did my online shop and didn't order any more formula!! Just need to take away the bottle now...

I actually went straight to cows milk when dd stopped bf at 10m . I know this is not recommended but she was eating so well that I couldn't see what the problem was.I know that the advertising pushes the iron content of formula but dd was eating plenty of iron rich food.
