Bottle feeding length of feed (8 week old)

My dd is taking about 45 mins to an hour to finish a bottle of 6lf oz - taking burping into account etc, is this average?

My 8wk old takes that amount of time to drink 3.5 to 4 oz sometimes.Her sister was exactly the same though so don't know what the average is.I don't mind much during the day,but a couple of 1 hour feeds during the night is a killer!

Is this EBM or formula ? Sorry to hijack the thread, but what is supposed to be the amount of EBM offered for a young baby ? Mine is 3 weeks old .... 6oz seems a lot for an 8 week old, but maybe she is much bigger than my DD2 ...

agree with lovinit! my ds is 5 months and only takes 6.5 oz a time!!!

but to answer your question... it sounds perfectly normal!
