Pregnant and still nursing my toddler - ouch!

I am writing this fresh from another excruciatingly painful nursing with my 18mth old. I'm only 11 weeks pregnant but it's been unbelievably painful since 6 weeks.

I've read 'Mothering your nursing toddler' which suggests that some women are just unlucky and the pain the pain the pain can go on throughout the pregnancy. It is making me MAD UPSET ANGRY RESENTFUL GUILTY and DESPERATE!

I really don't want to wean her yet (she was ill recently and breastfeeding is a godsend in those situations) and she is showing no sign of wanting to wean. (FYI She doesn't feed at night anymore).

It was my fantasy to tandem nurse but I don't know if I can get through these months!
Any practical advice welcome please!!!

Hey
I fell pregnant with DS aged 2.5 still on breast.
Thought I could just have them both breastfeed, but the feeding during pregnancy was so uncomfortable and irritating I had to stop, it turned into an absolute nightmare.
If youi need to stop for your own sanity then that's just what you've gotta do.
See how it goes x
