DS barely feeding in the evening and wide awake...

14 week old DS won't sleep in the evening despite trying different length of naps in the day at different times. I don't see how he can be full / satisfied as he barely drinks any milk at the evening feed and just sucks without drinking and falls asleep. Then as soon as i put him down he is awake and alert. Have tried giving an EBM top up of 30mls but he still remains awake. Then, when the 10.30pm feed comes he is so exhausted he barely drinks any at all even with a bottle top up of formula so obviously doesn't go as long as he could until the next feed. I have expressed some so i know it is not my supply (although i don't get a massive amount out when i express... probably dwindling due to lack of him feeding). Advice?

The amount you can pump doesn't relate to how much milk supply you have so I wouldn't worry about that.

There's another thread about caffeine and the effect on babies - could this be something for you to consider?

Sorry not much use.... anyone else got any ideas?
