Would anyone like a picture of tongue tied baby?

DS has a quite marked tongue tie, and sadly was one of the few who did not really benefit from surgery. All water under the bridge now, but I took a picture today which really shows how tethered his little tongue is. Any breastfeeding counsellors/peer supporters out there who think it would help? Email me at hairtwiddler at gmail dot com if so.

Have they tried to re-cut it? I know of a friend who's baby had it done 3 times before it finally worked and he was able to feed properly.
I think you could ask a couple of BF charities - they might like it for leaflets they may publish.

He's fully formula fed now I'm afraid... water under the bridge now, have cried all my tears over it! I won't go into the big long tale, as it's in the archives! I think it's tethered posteriorly - his little tongue is really heart shaped when protruded.

What does tongue-tie look like?

Underneath the tongue looks like there is a very short white cord tethering it. DS also has a ridge in the middle when he tries to stick his tongue out, making it heart shaped.
