Having an Amalgam filling today - Advice needed!

Been up all night with toothache - so having to have a cavity filled this afternoon. I'm exclusively breastfeeding and worried that the filling may harm the baby. It's really deep and so has to be an amalgam instead of a white filling - and they have to take an old amalgam out first.
I've read that there's more danger of mercury entering the baby's blood stream if you eat too much fish compared to an amalgam filling. Does anyone know anything about this?

Any help gratefully received. Thank you!

www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/drugs-in-breastmilk-information-and-factsheets.html - get the factsheet on dental treatment. You'll find you don't need to be concerned
