I am exhausted. He is relentless. He's lovely, he's calm, he's gaining weight very well but he just wants to feed all the time.

Is it normal to feel so drained (so to speak)? I didn't feel this way with my other two. I'm taking iron regularly but my word, I'm tired.

Much sympathies from me too it is exhausting this parenting lark!.....my DS2 (DC3) was a monster feeder as well, and after the first two made me feel like I'd been hit by a truck. I'm not sure if it was because I was older and had another two children to look after though.

Is he perhaps having lots of little snacky feeds rather than big feeds? some babies just like to feed little and often and like to be close to mum.

If he is gaining well and doing all the right things re pooing and weeing then it sounds like there is nothing to worry about.

Might be worth you getting your iron levels and thyroid checked though as underactive thyroid can cause tiredness and is pretty common post partum
