can what you eat affect ebf 4.5 month old?

ds has been sick this morning a few times, not really sick - it sounds like he burps and up with it comes the milk. he did it a few times but has just done a bit of a bigger one - he was sort of shouting beforehand - he seems to be exploring his volume control. anyway, can anything i eat make him be sick?

am interested to know this as well as my lo is 6 weeks old and has ebm + formula and has had a few horrible nappies again today and beginning to wonder if its from what i have eaten
