Still feeding my 17m, sometimes when out, very discretely...

surprised that nearly everyone asks me when I am intending on stopping. She is only ickle, still in 6-9m clothes and its not all the time that she feeds just when she is sleepy etc.

seems funny that so many people ask. I just say time has flown and we havent stopped yet but I guess we will at some point...

oh can you link please MrsMotMot? Can't see it. DD is just 2 and def not ickle either...VERY occasionally wants a feed when we are out - I am bit self conscious about it but also not willing to say no to her just yet!

Hulla · 21/02/2010 14:28

Might be this one...

Feeders over a year what did you do in public?

alittlebitshy · 21/02/2010 14:39

Yep - ds is 19 months and still v much fed on demand. not at all subtle with it (him, not me) but i still think most people don't actually notice what we're doing as someone i see q often was surprised when i said he was still bf.

That's the one Hulla, thanks! Yes, bf is great when ds is off food due to snot fests- his poo is much more pleasant too!

Wolliw · 21/02/2010 21:26

We stopped doing it out and about at 21 months when I decided I wanted to cut down. I got pretty absent minded about it, once thanking a waitress for delivering my lunch with DS standing on the floor hanging from one breast. Nowt wrong with that, but far from discrete.
