I have a 9 week old DD with reflux.

I am BF but loosing my mind trying and my DD screams day and night even on medication with the pain

A friend has recommended the above formula and swore it helped her friends baby with the pain and calmed her right down.

Im scared I give up BF and it comes back and worse. Does it really work?

Does anyone have experience of going from BF to that and it changing their lives?

My 4 month old daughter has reflux too and is on medication for the reflux (omperazole - losec). She's currently using Enfamil Thickened which I think is the same as Enfamil AR, its made for babies with frequent spit ups. This formula did help my baby. However, my baby gets constipation a lot because of the formula, that's something you need to be aware of because the formula has rice ceral, I just gave my baby a lot of water. However this is something you might want to consult your doctor about especially if your baby's reflux is severe. I believe there's other few formulas out there for reflux. Having a baby with reflux is terrible and hard work. I've been through A LOT. Don't worry you'll get through this, just hang there and be patience. Your baby needs all the support during this time because reflux can be very painful at time. Thanks to the medication, my baby is able to drink milk now. My baby seems to be doing much better, she hasn't started solid yet because her weight gain is good (I'm always on top of her feeding and is always writing down every oz she drinks). She currently weighs 14 lbs and 2 oz. Good Luck, just hang in there...
