Any ideas on how to drop DS's mornign feed?

He's almost 3 and feeds morning and night. For reasons I'll go into if important I'd love to encourage him to drop the morning feed - any tips?
I have a horrible feeling the answer will be getting up and dressed before he wakes and greeting him with breakfast...I'll be up at 4am that way!

You might have to bite the bullet and go for breakfast as soon as he wakes to break the association with waking and his morning feed.

Do you have a dh/partner who could do this?

takes me half an hour just to feel human
can't see DH getting up at 5
knew this would be the answer though, it makes sense...just going to have to go for oit, thanks

I reckon you might be able to argue that your dh should be able to get up at 5am. If your ds sees you is he going to want a feed? Your dh would wake up anyway if your ds got upset or had a tantrum if he couldn't have it.

Do you offer or does he ask for a feed in the morning?

Could you hang on for a while til spring time - at least the mornings would be lighter so it wouldn't be so horrendous to be up and dressed at that time
