Can 6 week old exc BF get diarrhoea?

Lacey is my dc4 but only my second bf baby. She did a huge poo and it was literally a puddle in my lap, bright yellow and watery, it ran down my legs when I stood up. Pampers couldn't deal with it.

She is fine in herself, just a snotty nose that I have used that calpol saline nasal spray for.

Yeah, they can get a tummy bug, same as anybody else would. There are lots of them going around.

Keep feeding her loads. If she keeps having scary runny poos for more than a couple of days, or starts being unwell, off to the HV I think.

Thanks all the other dc are fine, this seriously was a monumetal explosion... I have a cream carpet as well lol

Yes I feed her whenever she wants, so will carry on doing that.

Ack, poor you.

It might just be one of those 'kids are weird' things, or it might be a bug going around. I'd keep an eye on everyone else in the house, and not be surprised if any of the other kids started refusing food, or whatever yours do before they get a D+V type thing.
