hi,

I was wondering how soon the food we eat passes through to breastmilk?

I had a hot chilli last night at about 7, dd had a huge feed from about 8-9, then 9:30-1m and would settle - she had bad wind etc and this morning has had 3 poo's already and thrown up her milk, could this be down to the chilli?

Kidney beans used to make both my baby's scream and scream with wind for most of the following day. I had to make sure they had gripe water every feed. I naturally stopped eating kidney beans after I realised. I'd forgotten between baby's! Oops.

However this website is very good and will probably have a much more knowledgeable answer for you
