Hey!

My son is nine months, has been exclusively breast feed and has been eating 3 good meals a day for the last couple of months. He's really into his food, and eats tonnes.

He's increasingly been less and less demanding for milk in the daytime, until now he doesn't ask atall apart from first thing in the morning and at bedtime. Is this OK? Is this what's meant to happen?

He doesn't drink much water, has sips with meals but it's not a huge volume. maybe 3 floz aday?

Is this enough fluids?Does he need more? Should i be offering him even if he doesn't ask?

I commented on a query almost identical to yours only the other day, have a read of that thread and see if anything on there helps you: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/weaning/907816-My-dd-7m-is-going-off-milk
