It's ok to bf when I have sickness bug isn't it?

Close friend (who seems keen for me to stop bf - not really sure why) told me not to bf DD (7 months) because I have spent much of the day being sick (some sort of bug).

I know this is not the case but am feeling all fragile and wobbly - please reassure me and if you are specially clever tell me why is ok so I can blind her with science.

TIA

God I really hope she doesn't get it. Am awash in vomit. Is grim. Poor wee thing.

She needs your antibodies and that is always the case when there is illness afoot. GPS always tell me to feed above all else when I have been paranoid about my DCs getting the lurgy when very little. Sorry about stary above - not sure why I put that in!

Thanks for response. Off to bed to try and sleep it off. Fingers crossed am better tom. Nothing worse than sickness and childcare IMO!

She'll get your antibodies if you keep feeding her.

Just make sure you get enough fluids and don't dehydrate further.

A GP once actually came out to me and gave me an anti-sickness injection when DS was 5months! An actual GP on an actual house-call! Just so I could BF!

Get better soon!
