Was out with a friend and her tiny LO, friend had just finished giving a feed when a complete stranger came up with her 3 DC and starting chatting about the baby. Then she said how she just had to come and talk because she thought how wonderful it is to see BFing Mothers out in public - THANKYOU NICE LADY

Said friend is very nervous and a bit shy - someone approaching her and saying such lovely things was hopefully a real boost for her.

Made me think I should say nice things like that myself - not just to people I know!

I once saw a lovely sight in Primark of all places. A young mother, she looked about early 20s, bfing whilst standing and leaning against a display pile of jumpers, totally nonchalantly, in Muslim headscarf too. Her husband and other family members browsing the aisles.

I thought she was very brave and a total pro. No one seemed to bat an eyelid.

I was in John Lewis feeding my little one yesterday when another mum came in and fed her little girl next to me. Turns out her little girl was 14 months and we ended up having a massive chat about feeding. She very kindly answered a lot of questions too

I never got her name but she's really inspired me.

Thank you nice lady

Spent a lot of time BFing DS in John Lewis cafe when he was younger and I was on maternity leave. The staff were always wonderful, and I had a few people come up and tell me how wonderful it was to see.

Lovely place!!....
