Just found out dd (26 weeks)has posterior tongue-tie. Her growth chart shows a decline over two percentiles (from near 50th to just above 9th). Now this week she hasn't gained at all Weight gain started to drop about 5-6 weeks ago. I put it down to a cold and teething. Her daytime feeding is poor - constantly on and off the breast (not long enough to get much milk). I've started taking domperidone again as I feel my supply has dropped. Unable to express more than 30 ml at a time (whereas could express more than 100ml before when exclusively pumping). Dd has just been diagnosed with a tongue-tie and is having it snipped next week. Is it possible the tongue-tie is interfering with her latch and therefore she is not feeding efficiently? Doesn't explain why she was gaining well before though I suppose I'm just worried that the snip may not improve the feeding problem
