it's 8pm here. I've just done the last feed for about 5 hours (I hope).

Do I give it a couple of hours to fill up again, or just keep going?

Also, I have to have a couple of bottles by Friday evening my time. How many times can I express and for how long in the next 3 days?

Thanks. I'm incredibly anxious. Have this real fear I'm going to give my DS2 a tummy bug or something. Plus I have deep thrush at the moment which is unpleasant to say the least.

I need to feel it's not a big deal I think.

Thanks (again)

I always wait till my boobs are quite full before expressing otherwise it takes FOREVER! Do a bottle a day till friday I guess, I THINK (but do check) that you can keep in fridge for 3 days and freezer a month? Obviously make sure everything is fully sterilised, no reason why you'll give him a bug. Good Luck! (its quite boring task I find!)

But I'm not even sure what a "bottle" is with him. I am staring at the bottle (avent) and wondering if I need to have two ready, just in case?

Also, do you think it will make a difference that he uses Avent dummies (well, i suppose I use them )? DS1 was completely uninterested in both dummies and bottles, whereas DS2 is a dummy fiend.

Sorry didnt see you had replied yesterday. Is it the 260ml bottle? Then you will only need one, you would have alot of milk to fill more than that in one go! If its the half ones that come with expresser than have another one handy. If I express till virtually dry I get about 200mls, which seems to be more than enough for one feed. How old is DS2? You need to practice with a bottle before you leave him to make sure he takes it. I went to a party when DS2 was 5 weeks the few nights leading up to that I practiced with the bottle and he was fine.
