Daft question- how do you spot growth spurt in FF baby'

My ds is 18 weeks. When i was breastfeeding him it was easy, he would start feeding every hour or more.

But not noticed much difference really since FF. A few weeks ago he was hungry a little bit before normal (i feed on demand, but you could set a clock by the boy). Is this normal in FF babies? Do they have growth spurts?

Mine didnt have any sudden changes just a gradual increase in how much they drank at each feed.

I only knew when my lo's had a growth spurt after it had finished and they started drinking less again i.e. they would gradually increase feeds and then once I started making larger bottles they started drinking less again!

DD would finish the bottle and kept sucking, aso the teats seemed too small, she was finding hard work to suck and felt tired. Changed the teats and she was finishing bottles quicker and so we put the amount of formula up. She also grew a lot during that time, using cloths just for a week! then they where too small.

Now she has been taking the same amount for a while and hasn't grown as fast.
