This is were I got mine from about 5 years ago, but at the price! I do not remember having spent quite as much but maybe I just did not care after DS2's premature arrival. I expressed exclusively for a few months for him and it worked fine and efficiently then - and still works now ... It was also a good site for other BFing and expressing bits and bobs.

Hope somebody will come up with a cheaper solution.

Yes the price of the Lactaline has gone up. It is still a bargain compared to what a Medela sells for though.

A friend bought mine from here recently and was v happy with the customer service. She wanted a Lactaline but the other company she phoned first tried the hardsell on the Medela.

I was extremely unsuccessful breastfeeding DD and DS and found the whole experience v stressful. TBH, the way it made me feel such a failure almost put me off having another child, not quite though ! I've got 4 weeks to go with DC3 ...I want to give BF another try but if it doesn't work out again hopefully a decent pump will at least extend the amount of time I can express for.

It is one of the only pumps with a 'closed system' and so suitable for second hand use - so EBay is an option too .

Thanks pacific - Good for you, I've read a few positive stories abut third time lucky BFing so fingers crossed! Good luck for March. That will come round soon. I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has flown.

Strikeuptheband - good point about ebay. I was thinking I could sell mine on when I'm done to justify the cost to DP!
