Starting part time job and exbf 6.5month old

Hi, I have just been offered a part-time job, I will be working Mon 10am-4pm, Weds 2pm-6pm and Sat 8am-6pm each week. The problem I have is that DS2 is 6.5 months old and has been exclusively bf. As I haven't offered him a bottle before he doesn't know what to do with it! I've started offering him water in a tommee tippee cup but he's obviously not good at that yet. Also I've only just begun weaning so he's not eating much (if anything) yet.

I probably have about 2 weeks until I start work is that long enough to get him used to the cup do you think? Also I haven't expressed any milk, and cannot express any now as my milk supply in tune with ds? I won't be in a position to express whilst I'm at work. So I'm thinking I'm going to have to leave formula for him to have from cup as/when he needs it on my longer days at work?

Should I begin making formula in his cup and getting him to try it each day so he gets used to it? Will it effect my milk supply terribly? I intend to continue feeding him on demand the rest of the time. On a Sat my DH will be able to bring him to me for 1 bf during my break. Sorry I've babbled on

Mamasunshine, I am in a similar position, I have no advice but didn't like to leave your post unanswered.
A positive in your situation is that he is not refusing the bottle he just hasn't learnt how to use it yet so maybe he will get the hang of it over the coming weeks.
Good luck anyway!
