To everyone on the forum, without you I would never have managed to breast feed my son. I just weaned him the other day after 2 years and 2 months of feeding him. (I would have gone on but want to ttc soon and no sign of my period!). I stopped very slowly and it was a nice gentle process and I am really happy that I went this way and ignored the pressure from people around me to either make him go cold turkey or put chilli on my nipples!
I had a hellish start and didn't think I would get through it but thanks to this place I did and I am so, so glad!!
