I am 32 weeks pg and still nursing 4yo ds. He is nursing in a bit of a random pattern, but he doesn't take a whole lot as he's not very fond of the colostrum.

I broke my ankle on Sunday and am taking Clexane (blood thinner) as my risk of DVT is much increased being immobile.

Can somebody help me find the info about it. I am sure it will be fine as he is not a tiny baby and the amounts are small, but of course I would rather check.

I had Clexane injections for 5 days after my caesarean, so can only guess that it is fine for a 4yo if there's no problems with a newborn.

toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/htmlgen?LACT is one of several, mawbroon You can also check out the Breastfeeding Network's excellent info.

Ah, that's the site I was looking for tiktok. thanks very much.

I don't find clexane on there though, and am in too much pain to hop through to the kitchen to get the meds to see if there's any other info on it. Will get my sister to get them for me when she comes round.

Be careful on the ice everyone is my warning!!

Have just searched Clexane on the web and it says the active ingredient is enoxaparin. here says it's fine Hope you recover quickly.

Thanks CCG. My brain is a bit less fuddled this morning because I got a good sleep

And ds miraculously slept all night which is a rarity!
