Okay, so me and DD (7 months) both have Winter colds I know I can take paracetamol and still breastfeed safely but is this still true if I've given her calpol? IE, will her 5ml calpol and my two paracetamol tablets add up to an overdose for her? Have just given her some calpol, but feeling the need myself too!

I think I replied to minnie actually! Obviously, you know it's fine.

Hope you're on the mend soon.

PS Infant ibuprofen worked much better with my dd if you find the calpol's perhaps not as effective as you'd like. DD always had blocked sinuses and an anti-flammatory helped.

Thanks LOTMW Actually, I did just double-check with my pharmacist. He said I should take my paracetamol after feeding DD, but I guess he was just being cautious.
