Giving blood whilst breastfeeding?

Hello
DOes anyone do this? I know you arent meant to give blood during pregnancy and for 9mths after but I've been invited to donate 4 days after DD is 9mths.

Does anyone know if its ok. I am still breastfeeding her 3 times over 24hrs.

I asked about this, and as long as it's 9 mo afterwards you're OK. You might want to make sure you rest for a but longer afterwards if you have a tendency to keel over (like me - wuss)

I donated when ds was about 11 months, I was feeding more like 5 times a day then. All was fine just make sure you drink plenty

I've been invited on boxing day of all days! Tempted to go though- feel quite strongly about it.

I haven't given in ages . I have a v common blood type tho and tricky veins, so I'm not sure they welcome me as a donor! Must arrange it soon.
