Im tryin to change frm breast to bottle but shes not having any of it!

My daughter is 11months now and im still breast feeding her ive tryed so many times but she will go for hours screaming which shes doing right now,

ive had to see specialists for her weight gain and eating and they say its because im breastfeeding why she isnt eating and i really need to stop otherwise she will devlope bad iron intake

but she keeps crying and screaming ive a single mum so its very hard help plz.

Hi.It must be very difficult especially as you are on your own.Have you got any friends or family around?I'm afraid I've got no personal experience I'm afraid but I expect there will be some other ladies around to offer advice.
It seems the only thing you can do is limit the bf to maybe twice a day(morning and bedtime)which is what my DD was having at this age.Therefore her appetite was there so she wanted to eat.I think you will just have to be very firm,at her age she understands pretty much everything you say.She's not going to just stop by herself so think you're going to have to bite the bullet and not give in.

If there are concerns about her weight and her iron intake, then it seems strange to ask you to stop doing something that provides both calories and iron.

Instead, you can ask them about adding to you dd's diet with iron rich foods and energy dense foods.

Leaving a baby unfed, and in distress, seems to me to be very odd.

You could ask on the weaning board about increasing iron and calories.

can you ask the specialists about this, too? Ask them why you are being asked to stop bf.
