That's it! It's over. The DTs are 17 months, I'm off on a salsa weekend and when I come back it is over!

I thought I'd feel sad, but actually I'm kinda glad. I've given 6 years to breastfeeding. I think my boobs deserve a rest.

Also I want to throw away ALL my nursing bras and buy lovely pretty bras again. I can't wait for my breasts to shrink a little (please Lord let them shrink). I want to buy tops that fit ALL of me.

I stopped b/f after 7 weeks with mt dt but my milk dried up, was dissapointed at the time but ok with it, mine are also 17 months

Yes I do have a mad end of term feeling. Of course I'll have to express a bit whilst I'm away so that my boobs don't go rock hard when I'm dancing. Not fun!

Marslady-really want to know how it was when you got back from your weekend re the feeding?-Ive tried being away but by the Monday he was back pawing at me and screaming the house down when I refused although had been fine all weekend-I want to stop so badly but I have one determined 18 month ds to contend with and only a week before I go to Turkey on my hols and I really want to have stopped by then. What did you do leading up to your weekend away to pave the way for a breast free child???????????????
