Just wondering how it is for others as I feel out of touch. My DD is 18 weeks and we'll be getting ready to wean soon. My other DC were weaned earlier as they are 6 - 9 years older so I've never really been EBF at this stage. I don't feel like I feed much but she is fine weight wise and s o on...

So, please tell me how you are doing it as I'm interested in others experiences.

well, mine is 24 weeks now, but at 18 weeks was feeding about the same! every 3-4 hours-ish, sleeping relatively well at night, maybe 2 or 3 night feeds.
getting a bit more distractable in the day

why will you be weaning soon if she's only 18 weeks?

at the same age, ds2 was feeding every 45-90 mins day and nicght lol. killed me, but i felt very needed lol

Well I mean 6 months or just before. That seems soon to me as the weeks are flying by! I don't want them to but they are.

I guess that was the motivation for the post. She is growing up, feeding is less and less the focus of our days. I am a bit about it.

I want to feed forever! Sort of.

Also, she has never fed through the night beyond about week 2. That is nice obviously but I missed that a little bit.

guidelines these days say it's best not to start till 6m (ie 26 wks) so you have ages before you need to wrry about this

LOL, you just wait. I bet you £5 she is about to start a crazy madness and want LOADS of feeds day and night.

And also, I still feed my dd a few times a day and she is 14 months.
