I was feeding DS (2 1/2) and DD (9 weeks) this morning, when DD came off and started to cry. Was just trying to get a free hand when DS (without breaking his feed) reached over and latched her on for me

Lovely story.

My dd1 was 2 1/2 when dd2 was born. When dd2 was a couple of weeks old she was having a bad evening, crying a lot and I just said out loud to myself that I didn't know what to do with her when dd1 piped up 'Just put her on the boob, Mom' and she was right!

Just think how lucky his future wife will be to have a husband with breastfeeding expertise.

My son is seven years old and was weaned many moons ago. He was pretending to breastfeed dolly and his positioning was perfect. What a pity that he will never breastfeed for real.

Our boys' future wives will never need breastfeeding councellors, health visitors or midwives to establish breastfeeding.

I was thinking about that too Reallytired - but they'll also have us too! If they need us, that is.

Should probably point out the look on his face was "Oh stop CRYING" rather than brotherly love!

Awwww, that is so cute.

My ds is excited about demonstrating how to do it to ds2 when he arrives in Feb. I think ds is more excited about the milk than the baby though.
