Hipp Organic to change - won't be veggie

DD2 (7.5 months) is on a mix of bf and ff (for last 2 months). She has been doing well on Hipp Organic (we are vegetarian so liked that fact that it was). However they have just included a leaflet in latest box saying the formulation will change in Jan - basically they are adding in fish oils and prebiotics a la Aptamil.

Really fed up about this as (as far as I know) Hipp is the only organic veggie milk available - also dont really want to change something that works ok for her.

So just wanted to check noone knows of another? Only thing i can think if is to stockpile it now to get us through to April when she hits 1?!

2we were going to add prebiotics to our formula. We felt this was a real advantage to a larger proportion of our customers as prebiotics help soften stools and thus aid digestion for bottle fed babies"

But it begs the question if your baby has good bowel movements now what are they going to become after eating this runny?

"Prebiotics and LCPs are ingredients that are found naturally in breastmilk, known to be the best source of nutrition for babies, and we believe it is important that they are now included in HiPP baby milks so that formula fed babies can benefit from them too.
"

Plus anything they add isn't going to make it closer to breast milk as BM is natural and formula is made by scientists.

It is the same aswer you can get from Aptamil et al as to why, i suppose they will want the closer to breastmilk slogan next.

the veggie society is going to post other veggie infant milks on website! if hipp organic is no longer veggie, i have no reason to stay with them, or buy they baby food, so disappointed. i dont think hipp realises that more ppl buy it cos its veggie, rather than organic. let us chose, they could still continue to make veggie milk, but they r totally excluding veggies. so il exclude everything hipp out of my daughters diet. as u can get veggie organic baby food everywhere: plum orgnic, boots baby organic etc. they have p* a lot of veggies off, im sure hipp will lose alot of customers, as we wont buy anything from them. im just lucky my daughter in on follow on: SMA follow on is veggie, so SMA here we come!!!

i know what hipp are going to say: that breastmilk contains lcps etc...bla bla, but fish/animal rennett isnt in breastmilk last time i checked! anyway babies dont need it in their milk after 6 months, so why not make 2 infant milks on with lcp and one without. hipp organic hasnt put lcp in milks cos they couldnt get it organic, so why didnt they hang on till they could use a organic veggie rennet instead?
i went down to may local boots yesturday, and hipp milk was totally soled out, thought it was strange. thats probably why hipp only has given a months notice. so we r going to have real problems buying hipp from now on. im furious!!! i think its funny to how hipp is changing their packaging to look like another baby milk maufacturer that also contains lcps: can u guess who?
