As post title says, dd2 is feeding literally every 45 mins, and unhappy afterwards although will Not take the bottle.
She was 10 1/2lb when born and is 11 1/2 now so the weight gain is great, and hence why my GP and 2 HVs have told me to ride it out.
DD2 literally screams after a feed, 1oz on average, she takes in loads of air (yes Ive tried lots of bottles inc Dr Browns) and I dont know what to do. We've seen a cranial osteopath who was sure dd2 was tongue tied hence the tension that she found in various muscles etc across her neck and back, but Ive had 2 specialists, 2 paediatricians, and one GP look at her and all confirmed there is no doubt that she is not tt.
She has infacol, and we've tried colief, but still, Nothing is settling her. She only sleeps when she has got so hysterical that she cant stay awake. What do I do?

i wonder if your dd2 is either finding it hard to suck or finding it tiresome/boring to suck - if there is no medical problem.

have you tried bottles from CLAPA (cleft lip and palate association)? i know it might sound strange but with these bottles you squeeze them so babies dont have to suck as much (my ds had a cleft palate and really struggled to suck as there was no pressure there, 45 mins a time for a small bottle). just wondering if you tried this whether she would take more as you would also be controlling the amount that went down each time. you could try alternating with a normal bottle so she doesnt get lazy!

only an idea, not sure if it will work but anything is worth a try????
