anyone used gentian violet and know where i can buy it?

following f ive weeks of thrush treatment for DD2 her white tongue is thicker than ever. A lactation consultant and my MIL actually whispered about the success gentian violet. I am willing to give it a go short term as i know its not licensed but was used for years in this country prior to the the invention of nystatin and daktarin gel.

has anyone any experiences to share with this; positive or negative. Also can you tell me where ic ould buy it?

if you haven't tried it already I had good results with grapefruit seed extract tablets

i am taking 2 grapefruit seed extract tablets three times a day already although not sure how this would help her tongue?

so are you giving her any treatment at all?

you can give her the GSE as a liquid

she has had 5 weeks of oral treatment -nystatin and / or daktarin.

I've got some for the chickens, but I'd be a bit wary of putting it anywhere near a child's mouth tbh!
