is it bad for a 2 year old to drink milk from teat but water/juice etc from open or spouted cups?

but milk in bottle easiest for both of us when reading and cuddling up

plus nothing else i found takes warm drinks

My 2.1 yr old still has night time milk in a bottle and everything else in cups - no problem as long as you brush teeth well I think.

Same here shazbean. Dd has her night time milk in a bottle and all other drinks in a cup. She wouldn't ever drink milk out of a cup, for some odd reason.

Good to hear that you also have that problem! She will drink 'Tea' i.e. milk with a bit of hot water and a tiny flick of teabag but not milk!
