Best formula for occasional bottle feed for EBF baby?

we're EBFing but want to try out formula just in case it's ever needed (we want to make sure he'll take it). any advice on which brand/type to use?

Thanks - we have considered it, that's why we'd like to give it a go now, to make sure if and when it is needed (ie I'm sick, emergency situation, etc) we don't experience the 'virgin gut' or any potential allergies at a crucial time.

sorry there is no "best" use whatever you would be able to get most easily in a hurry or build up a supply of ebm in the freezer.

lastbox - trying out formula to see if there is an allergy issue doesn't make sense...sorry!

Trying out formula and finding no reaction does not mean there will be no reaction in the 'lastbox falls under a bus and baby needs feeding' scenario.

If there is an emergency, then of course someone will find some formula from somewhere for him.
