Remind me - is it a good idea to squirt BM up my baby's nose?

Not for general entertainment, she has a cold. I know that BM is the best thing for sticky eyes. Is it good for nasal congestion too?

yep, that or nasosal work a treat

Swaliswan · 15/09/2009 11:16

Thought so.

BM is free and I have a ready made supply so I'll try that first!

I have read this, but never tried it.

Let us know if it works!

I use it.

All those lovely antibodies.

I tried it and it did work just as well as nasal saline drops. DD2 was more upset that the milk wasn't going into her mouth than anything else!

BM is brilliant for all kinds of stuff. DS was prone to infant acne and I used to rub some milk over his face and it would clear up. 'Tis fabulous stuff

I tried this last night but it was dark and it went rather wrong. Poor DS got it everywhere except up his nose.

Does a great job if you switch the light on so you can see what you're doing...
