If you express several times a day, do you sterilise pump and bottle every time?

I have mastitis and my boobs are v sore so expressing some feeds to ease pain.

I always sterilised between expressing sessions. Bit of a PITA but I'm a bit of a worrier.

I sterilise the bottle every time (have several so I can rotate) but for the pump only wash/rinse after each use and sterilise once a day. The Medela pump instructions say to wash the parts of the pump that come into contact with breast and milk in warm, soapy water, rinse, and air-dry on a clean towel, no mention of sterilising. I think some people use the same bottle several times, store it in the fridge with the milk between uses and then pump back into it.

Never sterilised. Just washed properly and air dried. No problems encountered.
