Best BF-friendly sling for an older baby

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a good sling for a 7 month plus baby that will make it easier to feed her - we have babybjorn which DH loves but I find a bit of a faff when I'm out alone and need to feed her - have to find somewhere to safely put wriggly DD while I take the whole thing off etc. Also find it a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so.

So basically I want one that's really easy to get baby in and out of, and allows her to see/ explore the world.

Oh, I've tried Kari-Me and not keen, makes me too hot and too much of a faff to put on when DD is wailing..

(Not sure if this is really the right place to post this but can't find where else I would..!)

Hi KiwiPanda

I've had various slings and the only one I've ever managed to breast feed successfully in is my mei tai.

DD is 7 months now and I changed to this sling about a month ago as was finding my wrap sling (like the Kari-Me) was making me too hot and was getting uncomfortable as DD got bigger. The Mei Tai is much cooler, and after a couple of practices i can get it on much quicker and easier than the wrap.

Mine came from here. Was the best price I found and looks great.

I second the MT. Kari-me type are good for earlier months, but now the MT is brilliant (6 months old.)

Mine came from easyslings, a WAHM on Ebay.
