DS sleeping better but wanting more food in the day

My DS is 11weeks old and we are still EBF despite a tricky start (pressured to give formula in hospital, weaned off that, tongue-tie - now cut, oversupply and huge wind issues related to latch). things are finally starting to get a bit easier

He has started to sleep better feed at 6ish, dream feed at 10.30ish and then has started to sleep through til 6. Woohoo!! This means that he is hungrier during the da and tending to want feeding every 3 hrs whereas before it was more like 4. I haven't instigated any routing except bath, bed, feed and DF but he seems to have fallen into his own pattern. Just wondering how to stretch the three hrs to 4 or just leave him to do his own thing?

I'd leave him at 3 hours tbh or you could risk night waking again.

3 hours sounds more realistic for an EBF baby who's that small TBH, and if he is requesting feeds that often and sleeping much better I'd just go with it. My DS was every 3 hours (including at night!) until he was about 7mo.

I guess I should count my lucky stars
Thanks for your advice - i'll stick with going with what he wants.

Just realised how bad my OP spelling is - apologies! and well done for understanding it!

I would definitely count your lucky stars! Sounds like he is doing exactly what would be expected....well done!
