they will prob return back once youve stopped bf but you can still get pg whilst youve got no AF.

With DS, my periods didn't come back until I had totally stopped breastfeeding. They started again exactly 4 weeks after his last breastfeed at about 9 months, and he wasn't breastfeeding much in the last month tbh.

How long is he sleeping at a time - going through the night yet? That can make a difference.

You know that if you popped onto your PN thread occasionally you would find that plenty of us haven't got them back yet.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/06/2009 21:50

But yeah, you're prob knocked up.
Congratulations .

I BF DD3 for 11 mths (by then she was only feeding morning and night), periods came back when she was around 15 mths - obviously test if you think contraception failed (or was forgotten) but it can be perfectly normal.

MrsBadger · 16/06/2009 22:26

mine didn't come back till dd was 18m and I stopped feeding altogether

even 'one feed before bed' was enough to keep them away

MamaG · 16/06/2009 22:56

No, its ok, the pg bit was a joke

Oh I hope mine stay away Mrs B
