DD seems to be on a feeding frenzy. MIL is bound to tell me to fill her up on solids tomorrow - someone please bolster my confidence that its a spurt!!

Yes growth spurt. Tell MIL a to bugger off and b that milk has so many more calories than solids so if she's hungry, milk is what she needs.
