hi- very long story but DS born 7 weeks early, very small (1.5kg) & had complex tongue tie (which was corrected). I had a lot of help from a lactation consultant & we were getting somewhere until I had the flu & supply took massive hit & I completely lost my confidence, since then I have expressed all his milk for him, however over the past few days I've had a really strong urge to put him to the breast again & try & get him to feed directly as I think he is so big & strong now that he could physically manage it much better. What do think? Do you think it would be possible, will he have lost the skill or instinct? he hasn't had a breast feed for approx 1 1/2 to 2 months, does anyone have any tips? Thank you and apologies if you all think this is a mad idea!!!
