DS is 14 m and was breastfed until 1yr when he moved to cow's milk (in a bottle at nights when he would wake)

He still has milk on waking (we're cosleeping though trying to phase that out too with water instead of milk ) but we take the milk up to bed with us for the following morning.

And i suddenly thought as the weather's getting warmer - is it okay to do that? I certainly don't sniff it before I hand it over at 0530!!

Sorry, real pfb clueless first timer question
TIA

I would pop the bottle into one of those cooler type 'keep the bottle at the same temperature' bags, or just into a lunchbag with a reuseable ice pack??? There's nothing worse than luke warm milk, eeeeuuugghh!!
