you know the ones i mean, pre mixed formula drinks cartons...

You need to buy them airside - all airports have a selection in the airside Boots or WHSmith.

If you need a few, ring Boots ahead and they will reserve them for you

It's impossible to say. Sometimes I've taken two or three through with no problem, other times I've been stopped and had to taste them all. But Boots do carry a good selection assuming you're going to a decent sized airport.
