Breastfed baby doesn't want bottle

My ds is 10 weeks. He is EBF, but needs to take a bottle of expressed milk while I am at work. He did so up until this week. I was home for two days during the week and didn't give a bottle...got busy and didn't think about it. Now he doesn't want it. Any suggestions?

Thanks

How about getting someone else to offer the bottle like dh/dp or a relative? I helped some friends with the same problems and their little girl would only take a bottle from the husband xx

Yes, I second getting someone else to do it, preferably while you are out of the room.

For some reason my DD used to really like having a bottle whilst lying down. I'm not sure it's a particularly great way to feed a baby, but it worked for her.

My DS wouldn't take a bottle from me ever. He took a bottle of EBM or formula from DH or my mother no probs. If your baby had never taken a bottle before I was going to suggest that you try a teat like Tommee Tippee closer to nature, as some (like Avent) are nothing like a boob, but it may not be that if he has done it before.

Closer to nature worked for us too. De also used to have her bottle lying on a v cushion and still does!
